Most useless thing this week, probably this year

If I were to pick the most useless invention this week, this will top the list. It's a security lock for your PS2/3 controller. It works by locking the thumbsticks of your PS2/3 controller and won't let go unless you know 3-digit combo.

What exactly is the point? Someone going to steal a controller? Actually, I just found one. It's probably for parents who want to restrict their kids play time. Something like, "No PS3 for you until you finish your homework". I know I went through that phrase.

What are they going to think of next? A Wiimote lock?
