Rumour one day, confirmed the next. It has been confirmed (by the way of a magazine scan from Shounen Jump in Japan) that SquareEnix is to remake Final Fantasy IV on the DS. It was kind of expected, given the Final Fantasy III reamake is already out there.
If I count correctly, that makes the fifth Final Fantasy game announced for the DS. So we now have Final Fantasy III, Final Fantasy XII: Revenant Wings, Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicle, Final Fantasy Tactics A2, and Final Fantasy IV.
So when are we going to see FFV, FFVI and FFVII on the DS? Well, FFV and FFVI is already out on the GBA.
